Purpose: To develop and implement the Sales & Marketing strategy for Julphar Life, the dedicated Consumer product division of Julphar.

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting Julphar Life to achieve key results areas by developing and executing strategic sales & marketing plans. The role will be required to influence and drive the strategic direction for sales activities and marketing programs to develop the company's presence and brand within the consumer/OTC segment.

To be responsible for driving all sales functions and operations while developing marketing programs to increase visibility, revenue and profits. Also responsible for achieving quarterly/annual sales goals, developing distribution channels, building strategic business relationships, formulating innovative business development strategies and providing vision for all sales strategies and their execution.

Also to be responsible for containing the costs of selling in order to achieve predetermined profit yields while staying within marketing development budgets.


Key responsibilities & Accountability: Accomplishes marketing and sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.

Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging, coordinating new product development.

Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


Qualifications:


Education: Higher education: University degree in science and/or business Marketing or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum with 3 years experience as a Marketing & Sales manager.

Training:


Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, People Management, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative Services.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with sales & marketing background in consumer OTC FMCG and have solid experience in promoting products to pharmacists, directly to consumers and specialty doctors.

Stong command of English Language (Arabic also desirable).

Leadership experience, including professional staff.

Flexible approach and good persistence.

Understanding of and exposure to project management principles.

Product management experience and knowledgeable in relations to marketing communication practices.

People Management Experience is a definite asset in training and coaching others in Sales Methodologies and best practices.

Relationship building skills and tenacity to inspire others to take on new ideas.

Understanding of different working styles and emotional intelligence.

Strong communication and presentation skills with Superior influencing and negotiation and strong business partnering and advisory skills.

High self-awareness self-motivated and ability to take responsibility for function and drive outcomes.

Purpose: The Sales Representative will oversee the sales of the Company and products to hospitals, pharmacies, and medical facilities. He will be responsible to provide appropriate and complete solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. He Will serve the customers by selling pharmaceutical products and meeting customer needs.


Key responsibilities & Accountability: Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.

Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Answers questions about the drugs, their cost, and possible side effects.

Knows which drugs will be of interest to doctors in different specialties.

Attempts to identify doctors who dispense the most prescriptions.

Host speaker programs for doctors to come in and discuss healthcare issues.

Discusses success stories surrounding the medication with doctors.

Monitors prescription data to see who is prescribing your medication.

Provides drug samples and literature.

Take sales orders.

Provides presentations to doctors and staff.

Carry out survey of industry demand and trend to identify a product target market.

Contacts healthcare professionals such as medical technicians, doctors, and nurses to offer them products and convince them to make a purchase.

Oversees the publicity and awareness campaign of pharmaceutical products.

Collaborates with company sales team to design and implement strategies necessary for effective sales.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or any related medical field.

Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience in Pharmaceutical field.
